Rusty: I was talking with Jamie last week - and asking about you. We were recounting our Fields of Dreams baseball excursion which you may recall wound up with you at Shea Stadium. The Mets rallied for 3 in the bottom of the 9th capped by a flair to right by Howard Johnson for a 5-4 win. We were watching the Sox beat the Yanks on a small TV we brought in with us (Luis Rivera had a Grand Slam and the Sox completed a perfect sweep of all their games while we were on the junket. Then we bolted over to Catch. My memory betrays me as to whether it was that night or the night Marzilli and I came in from Greece and went to Catch to see you that we saw Chris Rock.

Anyway, just wanted to pop on, check out the site and stir up some fond memories of times with the Magee bros. You and your family are in my prayers. Take care. Bogey

Rusty,
(Forgive me if you get this more than once but I keep getting cut off.)

I've thought long and hard about what I want to say to you and the one thing that keeps popping up in my mind is, you are my hero. I know that's corny and stupid but I don't hide the fact that I look up to you. I know I've told you about how you and Lew were the first thing I saw in NY and how in awe of you I was and so shy about meeting you until I became friends with Alison and how silly that seems now. And how in awe of you I've been the past couple of years. I thank you for the things you've taught me and also for the couple of times you let me help as little as that was and I so wish I can do something now. I\d love to see you, to talk to you, but I know I am not the only one who thinks of you every day.
I am your friend and fan, forever grateful, Robb Pruitt

We eagerly await your return to the keyboard!!

Rusty!

It's Hanukah, the festival of lights and miracles, and I'm sending you a little piece of it. When I light my candles tonight, I will be thinking of you and sending you much warmth and light.

P.S. And guess what! I'm performing in a dance piece produced by Jessica and Tabitha in January . . . my stint with you at Moonwork helped me conquer my fear of the New York stage. . . thanks for showing me how to swing closer to the stars!

Love,
Gabrielle

Dear Rusty, You are such a wonderful friend (even to someone with whom you had been out of touch for 20 odd years!!). From my first memory of you, playing the piano in our freshman dorm to captivating our children -- and us!! -- at our Brown reunion (where the years simply fell away), you have indelibly touched many, and we are all so grateful. You are also an amazing "connector of dots"; Only a week ago, did Magee give me this site address, which I have just been able to pass on to Amy Nathan, who I ran into on Saturday while she was in NYC for the holiday!
We send you much love. Eleanor

Dear Rust; A great web site representing a small return on the love you have shared throughout your life. You have been bringing people together with your vibrant (frenetic?!) magnetism since our days in Ms. McClure's PM kindergarten class over 40 years ago. You infuse your music with wise and witty creativity that is immediately recognizable and memorable. Love John

Dearest Rusty,
On this holiday weekend, I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to you, Alison, and Nat, and to tell you how thankful I am for so many things. I'm so very thankful to have you in my life; thankful for your generous friendship, thankful for the ways in which you have enriched my life and the lives of so many others; thankful for a magical weekend in NYC when worlds collided; thankful that I have memories of you that go back to the sweet age of 15; thankful for Hill Street, the grand piano, "brown-eyed girl"; summertime, walks in the Arb, and so much more.

Here\s hoping your Thanksgiving was blessed and filled with love.

Thinking of you now and always, Margaret

Dear Rusty,
Although my husband, David, and I have never met you, as close friends of your mother, we feel that we know you through her. I was honored when she asked me to do the portrait of you and Alison as your wedding gift from her. This beautiful web site has helped us to feel that we know you even better.
Please accept our sincere congratulations on your many accomplishments, as well as our heartfelt best wishes.
