I've been thinking of all of you and have you in my prayers. Nan has given me the update. So, I think a bad I-net joke is in order:

My neighbor found out her little schnauzer dog could hardly hear so she took it to the veterinarian. He found the problem was hair in it's ears and cleaned both ears and the dog could hear fine. The vet told the lady if she wanted to keep this from reoccurring she should go to the store and get some "Nair" hair remover and rub it in it's ears once a month. The lady goes to the drug store and gets some "Nair" hair remover. At the register the druggist tells her "If you're going to use this uner your arms, don't use deodorant for a few days."
The lady says "I'm not using it under my arms." The druggist says "If you're using it on your legs don't shave for a couple of days." The lady says, "I'm not using it on my legs either, and if you must know I'm using it on my schnauzer." The druggist says, "Stay off your bicycle for a week."

Ugh

Hi Rusty: I am a former stand-up comedian who has been attending Moonwork since 2001. The season ending show last year in which you closed the night was one of the most delightful experiences of my life. I was literally crying with joy at the end and I was so happy that you were feeling better. I saw you several weeks ago when Marc Maron was the comic and you were having a tough night but your friends were there to help you. I was amazed at your courage to continue. Like so many others, I wish there was something I could do to help you. I admire you greatly, you are such a creative and talented person. I earnestly wish for you the happiness you so richly deserve. Don't give up. We love you. I think about you every day and send you love. Very best, Judith Currin

Dear Rusty:
How do you thank a man for a million laughs, a million and one courtesies? You can't. Thanks anyway. Thanks for sharing you talent, your character and your life.

Rusty -
Bruce (the Nutcracker's star performer) Ballentine shared your site with me. Fantastic!

I have great memories of us back at Eaglebrook. To this day I remember this little jingle of notes you taught me on the piano, and I still play them - A,D,E,F,D,E,C,D,..A - I wish you well.

All my best,

Stuart

Rusty..what an honor to know you! You have been such a good friend to my sister Tricia and her family, Roger, Daniel and Lilli. Nat and Daniel are best freinds which allowed me the good fortune to have attended their baseball games with you and meeting to pick the kids up at the bus stop. You always have your priorities straight...and everything you do, you always do smiling and laughing!

What an honor, and what incredible memories you created when you performed at our parents' 50th wedding anniversary several years ago!! You are such an inspiration in so many ways...dedicated father and husband, talented artist, strength of character, giving, loving and the most courageous, inspiring man through this most difficult time.

I pray for your peace and comfort..I pray for Alison and Nat's courage and strength.

Love, Adrienne Weber

Dear Rusty,
This is a great website. You look great, and cool as a bald guy! I go back a long way with your family--your mother is a dear longtime friend of ours and we all have been through much together. You have accomplished so much and continue to share your musical gifts with the world. Your courage and strength these last few years are to be admired. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Paul and Cheri

Rusty: Your testimonial for the Shanley film was funny and moving (what more could a guy want?), but not so much as seeing you here for the shooting of it. I love you and can't wait to see you again. AND your music on The Erotica Project is just fabu. As are you. Love, John
