Hey. It's been awhile but Margarett and I want to drop some love on you. Look out! Anyway, there it was. Hope it all came crashing down, as there is a ton of it. As you already know, you rock the party, raise the roof, mustard the hot dog, oil the tin man, plane the door, slip the tongue, and nail the tail of a snail to the whale. And that's just the stuff I was sober enough to take in and remember (two drink minimum my ass). Here's to seeing you performing soon!
With Respect, Admiration & Love,
Brian & Margarett Dykstra

Dear Rusty, I love you and miss you. How wonderful for me to see your photos on the sweetappreciation site, including many old friends from Ann Arbor. Thank you for that, and for your calm, reassuring voice. Know that you are in my thoughts. Love, Joanne

Dear Rusty,
I've enjoyed you so much in the Moonwork shows, and was recently given a copy of Sweet Appreciation as a gift - it's marvelous, as is the man who inspires us all. Wishing you all the best.

Thank you, Rusty, for many many Moonwork Saturday nights filled with laughter and song. I left NY a year ago and last saw you perform at the first show after 9/11. I spoke to you after the show, drowning in tears, but elated by your engaging sing-a-long. I will never forget it - what a night! Thanks again. My thoughts and best wishes are with you.
