"...You came to laugh
You came to cry
We know you came to drink...
We got everyone here
(and now you're here)
In Hell's Kitchen Siiiiiink..."
Those words are forever in my memory, as well as the fun we had listening to you sing them; as well as the fun we all had together in "The Sink". I just heard you left us today, and I'll miss you, my friend. The world is less beautiful today, because you can't be replaced.
Love, Tom

I just wanted to offer my prayers and immense admiration for you, Rusty, and your whole family. I played 'Tybalt' in Moonwork's "Romeo & Juliet" and last saw you in "What You Will". I recently learned of your illness through Kathy Keane and just wanted to let you and your family know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. You've given so much of your talents to so many people for so long, I wonder if you truly know the scope and the incredible impact that you have had on people over the years. I feel very blessed and inspired by your music, Rusty, and just want to personally thank you for it and for you. You're a truly great guy and although I don't know you very well, your impact on me will ALWAYS be felt. Thanks, Rusty... and God bless you.

Rusty -
I think a little morsel of your spirit has decided to perch itself on my shoulder . . . your mischievous grin and sparkle have been dancing around every corner! I am bracing myself against the wind and cold these days, trying to hunker down and warm myself on all the things that are real and true. I just started an acting class at HB studio. It's exhilirating and terrifying, but I am so happy to have another way to connect to the ferris wheel of light (I know, me and my cheesy metaphors), the one you invited me to ride on! I've also been dancing more than I ever have, and just had my first NYC dance performance . . . weee! I will be holding your hand, always, as I skip through the ether, feeling so lucky to have my very own Rusty light beams to comfort and inspire me on my journeys.

Sending you comfort warmth and love,
Garielle

Mr. Luce created the modern news magazine, fostered the development of group journalism, restyled pictorial reporting, encouraged a crisp and adjective-studded style of writing and initiated the concept of covering business as a continuing magazine story.

Hi Allison and Rusty: I just listened to your CD, and I felt like I was there, with you. Thanks for sharing, and for giving me a few moments of the real you.

Love, Ellen

Rusty. . .I tried to find you in Seattle this fall--finally learned that you weren't there. I'm so proud to have had the chance to work with you on the two Moonwork shows--What you Were and Your Voice--and vicariously with Midsummer madness. . .You are a wonderful, warm, loving person. Lots of love,
Dave Sherman (parental unit of Andrew and Greg)

This is Rusty's song, I believe it is to all of his loved ones.

I will always love you when the days turn to years
When you're lying there in bed, please remember what we said
I will always love you
Our love always will be.
And I know already you will always love me
And I know forever you will always love me.
