I've been one of your fans since I first saw you at Moonwork many years ago. You have made me laugh, you've made me cry, and you've made me leap to my feet and cheer for you.
I'm sure you don't realize how much you mean to people like me who are just fans and really outside of your life, but you do mean a lot. I look forward to seeing you and to hearing your music.
My thoughts are with you and I look forward to seeing you feeling better soon.

Here's a joke:
Who Says Men Aren't Sensitive?
A woman meets a gorgeous man in a bar. They talk, they connect, they end up leaving together. They get back to his place, and as he shows her around his apartment, she notices that his bedroom is completely packed with sweet cuddly teddy bears.
Hundreds of cute small bears on a shelf all the way along the floor, cuddly medium-sized ones on a shelf a little higher, and huge enormous bears on the top shelf along the wall.
The woman is surprised that this guy would have a collection of teddy bears, especially one that's so extensive, but she decides not to mention this to him, and actually is quite impressed by his sensitive side.
She turns to him...they kiss...and then they rip each other's clothes off and make hot steamy love.
After an intense night of passion with this sensitive guy, they are lying there together in the afterglow, the woman rolls over and asks, smiling, "Well, how was it?"
The guy says, "Help yourself to any prize from the bottom shelf."

What a wonderful site! It's so good to see people finally making an effort to preserve these kinds of once-in-a-lifetime events for all us theater fans to enjoy. Great job!

We are all blessed that Rusty has graced this earth. His love of people, music and humor has enriched my life immeasurably. Growing up with Rusty in Ann Arbor, I took for granted sitting around a piano singing and laughing. Oh the laughing, we laughed till we cried...It wasn't until later in life, when the pace slowed, that I began to realize the incredible gift he has been. Rusty's obsession with keeping in touch with old friends enabled me to reconnect in some profound ways with my past life and people I love dearly. The chance to walk down that "road not taken", and revel in the richness of the stuning tapestry that we call Life. There is no way to thank Rusty for that gift. I love you Rusty!
