To Alison and Nat,
I know that I am very blessed to have you guys in my life, and that I had the chance to have met Rusty - that for the short time I have known him he has taught me a lot and not only that he was the most loving person I've ever met and of course "funny" and I will always keep you both in my prayers.

Although I did not know Rusty personally, I had the pleasure of seeing him regularly at Moonwork. He was an outstanding talent and quite obviously a generous, kind soul. He will be missed and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.

My deepest condolences to Rusty's family and friends. There is no greater gift than the warmth, humor and love of a heart like Rusty's for any audience, except for the generosity he unfailingly showed those with whom he worked professionally. I will never forget his courtesy and willingness to jump in and perform, under any circumstances. I am honored to have shared the stage with Rusty; however briefly. Goodbye Rusty -- you are greatly missed.

Alison and Nat,
I met each of you only very briefly. I'm a moonwork-groupie, and friend of Gregory. I remember hearing Rusty for the first time and thinking, "God! How's he get all that voice in that little body?" And, you know, having had the great good fortune to have been around Rusty in Moonwork shows and events...I can say, " God! How'd he get all that life and love into so short a span...TOO SHORT a span..." A wonderful, gentle, thoughtful, funny, kind, loving man. We are blessed to have had him, and on this side of THAT door, he'll be missed. And when the rest of us step through that door, let's all meet at the piano. All my love to you Rusty...every last, beautiful note still plays and always will.

Rusty was a neighbour to all of us, his music will live on as long as his spirit will. Myself and Dee Bliss will be thinking of him.
